It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.
Like good health. Mental and physical.
Wasn’t there a song about you don’t know what you have until it is gone? Remember roll-up windows, no power steering, no air conditioning, no cell phone, no computer…..? Now, it is kind of hard to imagine life without those things, for me. I know there are some out there who will say, “I don’t need that crap” but, they are missing out in my book, but whatever blows their skirt up.
And, Bob, you are so right, like the last time part of your body was injured and you weren’t even aware you used it before. Like the time when you were coming of age and told everybody to stand back because you weren’t sure just how far it was going to go…….OK, OK, that was uncalled for, but what is your audience going to do? Make me live in Texas and give me a President who boggles the imagination at his arrogance and stupidity?
One out of two isn’t bad.
